Bairavaa Review: Bairavaa is the new Vijay Ilayathalapathy’s movie starring Keerthi Suresh in female lead role. The actress has been on a roll making movies with all the top stars. The movie also stars Telugu star Jagapathi Babu as the main antagonist and a lot of good supporting cast to support the story. The political crime thriller has garnered almost 8 Million views on Youtube making it one of the most watched Tamil trailer in recent times. The movie is releasing across 55 countries around the world with fans waiting to watch their ‘Theri’ on screen. Here is our Bairavaa Review and rating starring Vijay, Keerthi Suresh.
Film: Bairavaa (2017)
Release date: 12th January, 2017
Bairavaa has been getting positive reports from all the local premier shows as Bairavaa brings back Vijay as a Mass hero after classy flicks like ‘Thupakki’ and ‘Kathhi’.
Bairavaa is directed by Bharathan who previously directed Azhagiya Tamiz Magan(2007). That movie also starred Vijay but as a classic thriller hero. Here, Vijay carried out the character with Entertainment that made the fans satisfied. Keerthi Suresh also holds a value to the plot points of the story rather than just being there for Songs and Entertainment. Supporting characters are all used for Comedy which doesn’t work well sometimes. The movie picks up slowly into the story and the first half of the film is wasted for comedy and entertainment. Jagapathi Babu as the powerful Villain hits the right note. Many fans have been waiting for Bairavaa movie review, and class audience will waiting for the ratings to see the movie.
Bairavaa(Vijay) plays the role of a normal bachelor living his life happily enjoying with friends. He meets and woos Keerthi Suresh(Malarvizhi) eventually gaining her trust. Keerthi, seeing Vijay as a trusted person tells her past and the biggest problem of her life which Bairavaa takes upon his shoulders to solve. Bairavaa takes the crime case directly to court in the process colliding with Jagapathi Babu. What’s Malarvizhi’s problem and What’s the court’s final verdict forms the rest of the story.

Bairavaa Rating 3/5
Our Bairavaa Rating is 3 out of 5 stars.
The movie focuses on the concepts of property crimes and how some families lose out their everything in those property crimes while moving on with the story. The BGMs by Santosh Narayan hyped up the energy of the fights and film giving Vijay a powerful look and feel. The chemistry between Vijay and Keerthi Suresh was good giving a feel good vibe in romantic scenes. The film wastes a lot of its time in creating unnecessary scenes only for Entertainment, that would make audience bored. The first intro fight and interval fight are choreographed nicely and the BGM compliments Vijay in every scene. The second half of the film has a lot of court scenes and valid points that would pass the message to the audience.
The movie has a fast pacing and all the scenes come quick with quick cuts. The cinematography is a let down compared to Vijay’s previous films.
- Pre interval fight scenes
- Keerthi Suresh
- Vijay mass acting
- Comedy in first half
- Over the top action
- Editing and Cinematography
Bairavaa Hit or Flop??
Bairavaa satisfies mass audience and is a weekend entertainer for all the Tamil family audience.
